How we plan your trip

We only earn something when you book through our partners. That’s why we only recommend what we’d use ourselves.

Honest about our partners

This site contains affiliate links to partners for flights, accommodation, tours and insurance. If you book through such a link, we receive a small commission from the provider. You never pay more yourself. We only work with partners we’d use for our own trip.

Our partner categories

Flights

Compare flights to Paramaribo (PBM) via Skyscanner or KLM. Book 3–6 months ahead for the best price.

Accommodation

From Eco-Resort Bergendal to city hotels in Paramaribo. We only point you to places we’d stay ourselves.

Tours & activities

Local guides for Brownsberg, Galibi and the interior. We arrange it directly through Indigenous cooperatives where possible.

Travel insurance

Suriname falls outside standard EU coverage. Good cancellation + medical insurance isn’t optional — it’s a must.

Car rental

Your own transport in and around Paramaribo. For the interior you’ll travel by guide or dugout canoe anyway.
